Vision Statement: We are planning a series of events at our high school to raise cans and money. We will have a canned food drive contest amongst the advocate classes. The winner will be the class with the highest percentage of cans per student and will get a pizza party. The purpose of this event will be to collect cans. We are selling baked good items after school two days and will earn money to pay for the pizza party and give the remainder to the Brazos Valley Food Bank. We will have a school spirit dress up day, “Tacky Christmas Sweater Day”, because Hunger is tacky! We will also have a PJ day, where students will have to pay $1.00 to get a sticker to wear pajamas to school all day. We will deliver the items and the money during the Food For Families Food Drive hosted by the local media which directly benefits the Brazos Valley Food Bank.
