“My hope is that they have gained confidence in their ability to face challenges. They are our future and we need strong leaders who can change the world in positive ways. They can make a difference, even if only in a small way. As the song by Kurt Kaiser starts, “It only takes a spark to get a fire burning.” Small positive voices can create a ripple effect with incredible outcomes. I have encouraged them to find their passion and be the change they envision.”
It’s that time of year – deadline week! Hundreds of educators and student teams have finished their fall semester lessons and project. New Challenge entries come in every day. Thank you to each educator who takes time to share their students’ story!
Remember: No story is too big or too small. We want to hear how the program changed your students and how the students changed their school, community or world!
For the first time, Lead4Change has two deadlines this school year. You can enter your students’ work by this Friday, February 1st, or continue the lessons and project and enter anytime between now and May 31st.
A Challenge entry makes you eligible for
- Certificates of Completion for participating students
- Graduation Honor Cords for Seniors
- Recognition across social media, including Educator of the Week
- Teacher Leadership Recognition
- An opportunity to win up to $10,000 for your charity or school
Don’t delay, keep working – and reach out if we can help. Enter your submission as soon as the work is complete. Beginning February 1st we will make Certificates and Grad Cords available as soon as you enter.
We can’t wait to see how your students have changed and hear about the project they chose!
