Every school, every club, every team of 6-12th grade students are eligible and equally qualified to enter the Lead4Change Challenge. The lessons and project have been done successfully across all student populations.
From the special needs middle school teams in Louisville and New York … to the Business students in the small town of Odessa Washington and the big city of Phoenix Arizona. More than 1.8 million students have “road-tested” the program, led by more than 12,000 educators.
Teams are diverse, spread across the country, and a part of core subject classes, special courses or clubs or a part of a community club outside of school. Teams of 3 students are as successful as school-wide teams of hundreds of students.
Equity and inclusion are important components of the program. By offering all of the lessons free to educators and students – because of the generous funding from the Lift a Life Novak Family Foundation – we want to open the door to any student’s participation.
Leadership starts with being your best self. When will you start lesson 1?
A $10,000 grant is special when it comes back to your school or community to continue the work started by your students. We can’t wait to hear your story and celebrate your journey!
Every student on a Challenge entry team will receive a Certificate of Completion and a Graduation Honor Cord when they are a senior.
