Do you see the potential for leadership in each of your students?
Do you have a clear path to show each student how to develop and be their best self?
Do you see that each of your students feels they have a purpose and direction for their skills and talent?
How about YOU? How are you feeling about your leadership?
These are tough times – and we appreciate you as an innovative educator!! Your tenacity, creativity and willingness to navigate the changing learning environment deserve applause and recognition!! THANK YOU!
At Lead4Change, we continue to provide our lessons and resources free to all US 6-12th grade educators and parents. We track our members and love the diversity of stories, settings, successes and service.
It all starts with Lesson 1 – Be Your Best Self. As I plot my lifeline, just for 2020, it looks something like a rapid heartbeat. The ups and downs are real, and I am learning a lot about myself and how to focus on being my best.
What does your lifeline look like? We’d love to hear your story here. How about your students? This lesson begins the important journey through social-emotional and leadership skill development. The path to leadership begins with self.
In this election week there is so much going on in our country and the world. Take some time to teach lesson 1 and encourage students to focus on themselves and their own leadership capacity.
The generation of students you are teaching are highly aware and engaged in local and global issues. Let’s give them the skills to turn passion into action — effectively, actively and to take people with them on their leadership journey!
