I am so excited to learn about the many projects students are leading across the country. Students are growing into great leaders and taking people with them to complete their projects. They are learning about self-awareness, character, strengths, opportunities, and what makes them unique. Student teams are
creating a culture of excellence as they interact with people to get things done by helping those in need. They are learning the more they give, the more they receive.
High School and Middle School teachers across the country are checking in and reporting on their student team projects. Students are applying their newly learned leadership principles and achieving breakthrough results with their hunger projects.
I am often asked why we developed Lead2Feed? The short answer is I wanted to share my learnings with others. My BIG goal is to create more leaders and help others achieve their greatest potential and succeed in life. Lead4Change provides students and their teachers with the necessary tools to make the world a better place. These hunger relief projects exemplify students’ ability to learn and serve while discovering talents they never knew they had.
As we approach the extended final weeks, I want to commend the students and their teachers for the enthusiasm and leadership they are demonstrating through their ACTIONS to fight hunger. I am looking forward to seeing all the team project submissions on or before the new May 9 deadline. Keep focused, determined and Take People With You on your team projects.
