Are you in a high school setting? Let’s look at ways Lead4Change has been used with a variety of high school teams.
The student experience starts with 9th grade. Eisenhower High School in Lawton, OK has been using Lead4Change in their “Ike Ignition” program since 2012. All 9th graders learn about themselves and how to effectively collaborate with others in a meaningful way. They also place a high value on community service from the first day and throughout the 4 years of high school. We love to see the intentional mentoring so students become leaders!!
In CTE courses and clubs, students practice their skills and leadership through Lead4Change. We have thousands of teams who integrate their CTE goals with Lead4Change lessons and projects with great success.
In core subject areas, we see fun and success teaching communication skills in English classes, exploring scientific solutions in Science and Health, studying leaders in history and defining their own leadership style in Social Studies classes. Even Math, STEAM and the Arts and Humanities content areas can use Lead4Change to support and enhance the learning experience. The best way to make learning stick is to allow students to put it into practice.
High School includes a variety of student populations. We have seen Lead4Change produce amazing results in Special Education teams, Gifted teams, school-wide Advisory time teams, and even in Alternative Schools for teens.
Don’t hesitate, let’s work together to see how your High School experience can be better than ever before. Let’s get your team started today! Already started? Share your progress on our social sites. Tag @lead4chageorg on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
