Dr. Chad M. Bruton oversees a diverse student population of 1500 students. He works with his assistant principals and teachers to create a rich learning environment for all students. In addition to creating a rich academic environment, Dr. Bruton has a passion for cultivating student and staff leaders.
Prior to taking the principalship in Raytown, Dr. Bruton served as an administrator in the Independence School District, were he was the Associate Principal at Wm. Chrisman High School and the Principal at Independence Academy. Before joining the ranks of administrative leadership, Dr. Bruton taught Speech and Debate in Monett and Springfield, Missouri.
As a school leader, Dr. Bruton is driven by a strong belief in the power of people. He finds value in honoring, recognizing, and appreciating the talents and gifts of his students and staff. He is exceptionally proud of his staff and students and is humbled to work alongside them each day.
