Larry Ambriz

Biography

I have worked more than 20 years in the business sector working for TJMaxx, Alaska Airlines, American Funds, and ESRI. Currently, I teach courses in the business pathway at Alhambra High School. I have also been an FBLA adviser. One of the quotes I share with my students at the beginning of the school year is THE ROAD TO SUCCESS IS PAVED BY FAILURE.

I believe in the power of Project Based Learning and seeing my students grow in their learning and life skills. Teaching is my passion and I enjoy sharing my life experiences. I look forward to seeing how my students will change the world when they complete my courses and move on in their life journey.

I am a California native and currently reside in Long Beach, CA.  I enjoy kayaking in the bay and recently began CrossFit. I am also an AVID fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers and enjoy taking in a game at Dodger Stadium.
