Project Submission Rules

The Lead4Change Challenge

The Lead4Change Challenge is the contest component of the Lead4Change Student Leadership Program. Teachers/Advisers/Adult Sponsors can enter the student team completed project(s) once they have finished the  12-Lesson or 6- Lesson track. Each year there are two Challenge deadlines: February and May, and teams can win a grant for their charity or school.

How do I participate in the Lead4Change Challenge?

Teachers, youth club advisers, or any adult sponsor can access all member materials by filling out the Lead4Change Registration form. If you are a student, you can register too! You will still need to have a teacher, adviser, or adult sponsor submit your entry to the Lead4Change Challenge.

Why should I participate?

The Lead4Change Challenge gives students a jump start into the real world of leadership by offering comprehensive lessons aligned to standards and 21st-century skills. But what excites students and teachers alike are the opportunities to put leadership skills into action in their communities. Students work in teams and can do any kind of project as they go through the lessons.  A team is “3 or more students and an adult sponsor”.

What is the reward?

Log in to your dashboard to complete your Challenge Entry Form. Students select their project, partner with a Qualified Organization (charity or school), and compete for a chance to win grants for their Qualified Organization.

We accept Challenge entries at any time. You will be entered in the Challenge for 2022-23, which will close February 10 and May 12. You are welcome to enter either round.  To see previous winners click here!
