About Lead4Change Lesson Plans

The Lead4Change lessons provides opportunities for high levels of student engagement through collaboration, critical thinking, problem-solving, reflection and creativity. Throughout these lessons (10 or 6-lesson track) and service learning experience, students will increase their knowledge of these leadership skills as they take action to make an impact on a need in their local or global communities. The lessons are aligned with Common Core State Standards, 21st Century Skills and can be delivered in a number of settings (i.e. classrooms, student organizations and other educational programs). The Lead4Change lessons are student-centered and designed to get students to take ownership for their learning. During this program, your role as a educator will shift from the “sage on the stage” to the “guide on the side.” You will kick-off each lesson and then let your students take initiative as they work in teams.
