How Lead2Feed uses Pipedrive
Hi there! A basic understanding of the fundamentals of Pipedrive are necessary to understand this document. If you haven’t watched all the videos on Pipedrive 101: The Basics yet, then head over there first and come back here when you’re ready to learn how Lead2Feed utilizes Pipedrive.
Pipedrive is a powerful tool for tracking deals through a set cadence of steps called a pipeline. For Lead2Feed, deals in Pipedrive represent teams of students participating in the Lead2Feed curriculum. Pipedrive’s Contacts are teachers or other supervising adults leading teams. Lead2Feed uses this software to track and create meaningful interactions with the teachers. When someone on the Lead2Feed team emails, calls, or otherwise interacts with a particular team whether encouraging or providing support, that communication is logged in Pipedrive so everyone always has a full picture of what’s going on with each teacher and team.
Much of these connections have been automated through integrating the Lead2Feed website with Pipedrive. For instance when a teacher or other team leader registers on the website, then a “contact” in Pipedrive is created with all the details they entered. When that team leader then creates a team on the website a deal is created in the Lead In stage in Pipedrive automatically. As that team progresses through the lessons and milestones, whenever the team leader updates milestone the team is at on the website, that team (“deal”) is moved to the next stage in the pipeline within Pipedrive. Lastly some profile updates are synced across the website and Pipedrive such as name, email address, and role.
Pipedrive is the hub from which the Lead2Feed team can assess, direct action, track interactions, and measure the success of teachers moving their teams through the Lead2Feed program.
