LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A local high school receives $10,000 in technology and $25,000 for a nonprofit of their choice.
Seneca High School participated in the “Lead-to-Feed” challenge, which encourages students to address the needs of the community. Students donated more than 350 nonperishable items and toiletries to the Auxier community’s food pantry and installed new roofs on two houses and a school.
The group also gave dentist offices, churches and Hand in Hand Ministries 1,500 dental supplies.
The Lead-to-Feed Student Leadership Program is the nation’s fastest growing leadership program.
