The 2018-19 year is here and it is going to be awesome! During the summer Lead4Change team members spread out across the country to meet educators at 10 major conferences and many more district and state workshops. We also gathered our Educator Advisory Board at the Novak Leadership Institute, the University of Missouri for a time of planning, creating and strategizing.
This year the Lead4Change Student Leadership Program is filled with options and opportunities!
Options: We now offer THREE lesson tracks — 6-lesson, 10-lesson and our NEW Now Go Lead 12-lesson track. The Now Go Lead lessons offer a new format, expanded activities and an opportunity for your students to complete most of the Challenge entry for their team! A sample of the new lesson format here.
Options: Lead4Change lessons are aligned with most national education standards – including Project Based Learning, Social Emotional Learning, 21st Century Skills and Literacy Standards. We also offer Integration Guides for all core subject areas and CTE.
Opportunities: The Lead4Change Challenge now has TWO deadlines for 2019. You can enter your student team’s work by February 1st or May 31st. We accept entries all year and place them in the next judging round. As soon as you enter, you are eligible for Certificates of Completion and the opportunity to order Graduation Honor Cords for seniors. Don’t delay – mark calendar, make a plan and choose your entry deadline. We can’t wait to see what your students will do!!
Opportunities: Lead4Change has a team of educator outreach consultants ready to assist. All registered members are assigned an outreach person. You can always ask questions via our Contact Us. And our Educator Advisory Board members are happy to share their experience and provide mentoring. Connect with someone like you here.
We know you have many choices of what to teach and how to teach. Our goal is to offer you FREE lessons and resources that develop students into leaders and teach them to use their skills by doing a service project. Let’s work together this year to equip students to NOW GO LEAD.
