Oregon students are preparing to Now Go Lead! More than 80 educators across Oregon are members of the Lead4Change community, including Adriann Hardin from Centennial High School. Adriann serves on the Lead4Change Educator Advisory Board. Our registered educators represent a variety of education associations, including AMLE, ASCA, ACTE, DECA, FBLA, FCCLA, HOSA, NHS and Student Council.
This month we are seeing increased participation across FBLA chapters and Student Council teams. Both organizations are Lead4Change supporters on a national level and we appreciate these relationships! Students are putting their leadership skills to use and serving their schools and communities at the same time.
Examples of the great work being done in Oregon include student teams like Hidden Valley High School FBLA students who formed their own nonprofit, Josephine County Foundation, to raise and allocate funding to improve their community. Or Centennial High School FBLA students who created hygiene packs for the homeless in their community. What an honor to restore dignity and offer support to those who are struggling!
